BAYELSA STATE GOVERNOR'S ASS ON FIRE AS HE COULD NOT KEEP UP TO A VOW/PROMISE MADE TO THE DEEPER LIFE CHURCH AND GENERAL OVERSEER

Current state of road and work in progress

It is no longer a rumor that the Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson made a promise to the Deeper Life Church in regards to the construction of the road, linking the Deeper Life Church and the Tombia Bridge and a sum of about 5Million Naira for the construction of the church building project.
Serious work going on
Speaking to Venus Magazine investigative reporter, a member of the Church who pleaded anonymity said the Governor had promised the church the said amount and construction of the road, some months back but had not kept to his word. He said the construction of the road started about two weeks ago and for the amount of money promised, he would not be able to tell if it has been paid or not but to his own logical assessment, it has not been paid as the construction of the church building seems not to be in that pace. A mechanic just before the entrance of the road disclosed that, the road was under construction day and night and that the construction of the road started about a week ago and rumors’ hovering in the neighborhood was that W.F Kumuyi, the founder of the deeper life church would be visiting the state viz-a-viz the hasty construction of the road.
Barricaded road
Speaking to a security official at the Deeper Life church gate, he said the media is not supposed to be interested in the vow made by the Governor and whether or not he fulfills it was between him and his God. Venus Magazine’s investigative reporter, Karis Trust gathered that the road was actually in the hasty construction state because of the promise the Governor made which he obviously has ran out of time to fulfill. Taking a walk, Venus Magazine gathered that most parts of the road were still untouched and the hasty construction was just from the church gate to the point it meets a better drive way. The Deeper Life Church, whose sign post is vividly mounted near the Okutukutu Bridge, cannot be accessed by anybody, except they can take the risk of boarding a putrefied canoe to the other side, as the link bridge has been submerged in water due to heavy rains.

Some questions still lingering in the hearts of most residents and members of the Deeper life church, is why would:

1.       The State Governor invite W.F Kumuyi for the state’s thanks giving service when he knows he has not fulfilled the promise he made to him in his prior visit?
2.       Why the connected roads are not touched, was it because no prominent churches were in those connected streets?
3.       Does the state Governor think he can complete the road when Kumuyi’s coming is 2nd November 2014?
4.       Who are the contractors handling the project as obviously there was nothing to be shown in the project site?
5.       Does he think he has kept to his word because obviously the road cannot be finished even in the next 2 months?
6. Is he a talk na do governor or a busy body governor?

The truth according to some of the residents was that the state governor has disgraced himself by failing God. What do you think about the whole story of a governor making a promise and is working cats and dogs to fulfill the promise because who he made the promise to will soon arrive when he had months at his disposal to fulfill the promise?
Below are pictures and a video gathered from the Investigative reporting, from the start of the road to the submerged church bridge?
